Late Night Rockin'

No. Not that kind. ( Ann, get your mind out of the gutter! )

I was up until 2:30AM again last night. But it was okay because I watched Thundercrack from '73, oh I don't know, 20 times? It worked too. Sweet dreams last night. ;-)

Is it wrong if I never want to knit another sock pattern? Ever?

Every time I see the ad on Channel 21 for the Hammersmith Odeon concert film....I think of you. I also think of how utterly cute Bruce was, is, and ever shall be, especially in that grimy knitted watchcap, amen.

I hope we see him as a very old man some day. Some day FAR in the future, but some day.

Hey, once you've found your One True Sock Pattern, I don't think you should fool around with any others. They look different every time in the STR.

Hey, count me in on the Jaywalker knitalong please! I've got a pair started with Vesper yarn, the Knit and Tonic colorway: http://stoneview.typepad.com/.shared/image.html?/photos/uncategorized/jaywalker_gusset.jpg
I've not yet tried socks that rock yarn but I'd sure love to!

I love how those socks are turning out. Great yarn for the pattern!

Wow, they are looking great. The colourway is awesome!

Are we going to have to do an intervention? I'm just sayin!

Seriously, though, I thought you might go with the carbon. Cool color combo.

Lookin' good!!

Julia has a point. We could do an intervention or we could just let you knit until you are so sick of it that you'll start searching high and low for a whole new obsession.

I have an update to report!

Not much sock there, about 2/3 of a toe, but I've included how to set up the rows to do the socks toe-up.

I must admit I voted for carbon and I love how it's turning out. knit on!

I imagine you'll tire of the pattern at some point. In the meantime, just enjoy it.

Hey SNEAKY better pal. Ladies, if you ever take part in a swap you want Cara as your partner. She's generous, she listens and reads and really gets to know you, she packages things well, she's prompt and she takes amazing photography. THE BEST PAL YET. Thanks so much Cara for your generosity....I'll find a way to get you back!
