Wealth

Click here for the true story.
What fabulous riches gained from yarn! Yarn conceived, created, sold, purchased, gifted by interesting and engaging women. Who just so happen to be very special friends. The socks, well, they warm my feet, but more importantly, they warm my heart! Thank you!

Ye gods, woman! How much STR can you have???? *jealous*
Posted by: KathyB at November 30, 2005 03:45 PM
And The Man thinks *I* have a lot of yarn! Haha!
But seriously, I'm really jealous.

I see many socks in your future. Busy hands make happy feet. You may have tons of STR but you are CTR;-)

Duuuuudde! That is one serious sock yarn stash.
Posted by: Colleen at November 30, 2005 04:21 PM
*sniff* Makes me ashamed of my few skeins of sock yarn. I really would like to try some STR, but I just can't justify the purchase right now. Enjoy them! They're lovely!
Posted by: Miriam at November 30, 2005 04:32 PM
As a new sock knitter, I feel unworthy of the STR, and will wait to buy some until my skills improve...however, this doesn't mean I will not covet your GORGEOUS pile of STR. You are one lucky, lucky lady!
Posted by: Sarah at November 30, 2005 04:35 PM
I hope you store it out in *plain* sight. It's just too beautiful to hide away.

*drool*
i don't blame you at all for knitting all those jaywalker socks. they are just incredible with that yarn!
Posted by: kris at November 30, 2005 05:00 PM
Looks like you have enough there to make a pair for every day of a month ; )
Posted by: may at November 30, 2005 05:19 PM
So pretty! It's almost enough to make me want to knit variegated socks, almost.
Posted by: Jo at November 30, 2005 05:22 PM
Jeez oh man. I agree with Jan, keep it in plain sight -- would make a lovely centerpiece!
Posted by: anne at November 30, 2005 05:26 PM

I'm suddenly inspired to do some Jaywalking of my own.

You need a twelve step group girlfriend!

The definitive picture of STR obsession.
:)
Posted by: claudia at November 30, 2005 11:24 PM
ohhhh man! I look straight into the middle of that pile and see BOTH colorways I'm using to make Jaywalkers, AND I see the colors I wanted to buy. Lucky for me my LYS is stocked full of STR in an abundance of colorways, although, sadly, not as well stocked as you ;-D
AAAAAAAAAND there goes my lotto money! Back to the LYS for me!
Posted by: Renata at December 1, 2005 12:52 AM
yowza! beautful yarn and socks!
Posted by: froggy at December 1, 2005 12:54 AM
Well, I think it's time to dump all the STR into the bathtub, put on some mood music, jump in, and take a yarn bath!
Posted by: grumperina at December 1, 2005 01:22 AM
Whoa. Ever since I saw your first pair of Jaywalkers, I've been searching fruitlessly for the internets for a store that will sell me some of that delicious yarn. Now I know why I can't find any: it's all in your stash!!
Posted by: parikha at December 1, 2005 07:35 AM

Enjoy the beauty. Your feet will love you.
If you made that image a card I'd buy loads...

Maybe I should be glad you didn't snap up all the STR at Wildfiber. Saved some for me.
That's. A Lot. Of Yarn. Cara.

Will one skein make one pair? Chelle
Posted by: Chelle at December 1, 2005 06:01 PM
You lucky thing. I'm going to have to order some of that STR! What's the name of the colorway that has red and brown and purple above the Fire on the Mountain sock?
