Spinning, cute babies, upcoming birthdays... can't ask for more! No Jaywalker update from me this time, but a mostly-finished singleton is waiting my return to regular knitting after the New Year.

Did I tell you how I wanted to throw my wheel out the window for the first 2-3 days? It would have looked very good out on the back lawn. Did I tell you how Cassie had to talk me down? After I screamed at her in all caps for ten minutes about how this spinning thing SUCKED?

It passes. It gets sooooooo good.

As for the petulance, I totally understand. I am still a pretty crappy handspinner and it annoys the hell out of me. I won't do it with another spinner (well, except Marnie) watching, because I'm so self-conscious. The thing is, to get good, we have to go through the less than good stage. I've been spinning away this holiday and I think I *may* have improved a little. Not much, but something!
