PS: It's Not Easy Being Green

I've been on the phone the entire day today - most of it was really productive. Ann and I ate lunch together. Over the phone. We both had salad. She's losing weight and I had a pudding pop for dessert. ;-)

Speaking of salad, here's some verde for your Project Spectrum May Day. Enjoy!

The roving is a new colorway, dyed especially for my Project Spectrum spinning by Tina at Blue Moon, called Hiddenite in Biffle (BFL.) I think it will be available from Toni at her booth in Maryland. The yarn is heavyweight STR in (dark to light) Beryl, Jade and Limestone.

Oh and here's a look at my Sockapaloooza package. Which went out today because I'm slow and I suck - but I think I made up for my tardiness:

Don't forget Claudia's MS Drive!!!! I've already pledged - have you?

My bf picked out Seal Rock for me back in January 2005. It was not my favorite colorway but now I absolutely love it because he picked it.

I enjoy your photographs so much. Would you mind telling what equipment you use? You have a very good eye, that's for sure.

Beautiful pictures! And I'd love to be your pal.

Have you ever been to the Iris Gardens in Montclair? I thought of that today looking at your pictures. The gardens are gorgeous in bloom. Unfortunately, there was some serious vandalism there last year so I'm not sure how things are looking. It made me cry when I heard about it - irreplaceable bulbs had been dug up and destroyed. And of course, the areas are all nicely marked with the type of flowers, etc. but it was almost impossible to figure out what went where.

Beautiful green pics Cara! Such a bummer about your oven! I hate it when life decides how to spend my money and being an adult I just have to comply.

just gorgeous!

Ahh, it seems that EVERYTHING is on fire.

Love the green photos...not so hard for THEM to be green, is it...

...but, this might make YOU green...

I saw the Darkness on the Edge tour...TWICE. Saw the River tour, FOUR times, and one of those nights was the night John Lennon was shot. He was v. distressed that night....and I was sooooo close to the stage, that I could see when he was gearing up to sing Point Blank that he was clenching and unclenching his fists and, I think, weeping.
