The babies just left with my sister and I'm devastated! It's always SO MUCH worse for me when they leave me than when I leave them! My house is a mess, yes, but too too quiet!

Ooooooh! Those prizes are gorgeous! Lucky, lucky ladies! I just read your Knitty article and it was awesome. Must come next year. I read that someone came all the way from Fairfax, VA which is a tad south of me. I was sad/ashamed that I didn't make the trip. Good work, so pleased to take part. A round of applause for Cara!

Hey, Cara--I saw in the paper this morning that "Great Performance" on PBS tonight (Wed, 9:00) is Bruce Springsteen: The Seeger Sessions Live at St Luke's." More folksy than rock, perhaps, but still, Bruce, and I thought you should know!

That is a fantastic article and you are so amazing to have arranged all of this. Well done! The prizes are really cute, you've put together really nice gift sets.
I think being part of the knitting/fiber/spinning community is really wonderful and I feel like I'm welling up a bit now.
