I did it! I made my goal of two squares over the weekend. Well, technically I finished miter #7 on the train and #8 on my couch, but they're done. And the next square has been cast on as per the law. I had a great weekend - lots of sibling bonding time and much of it sans kids. The house was awfully quiet but my sister and I laughed until we peed in our pants, which according to some people is the true test of a good time.
Details on the squares tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Nothing like a good pants peeing to make the world right! Look forward to the colors you chose.

Now, I thought the true test of a good time was laughing until one of you snorted. Good friends make you laugh, really good friends go for the snort.

I love train rides-- they're so good for knitting. Can't wait to see the new color combinations!

You're teasing me with the color combos in the corner!
By the way, any tips for taking photos of your knitting? Mine ALWAYS come out crappy.

I hope you aren't yet tired of hearing what a way you have with color, because I'm going to say it again. Those colors look good enough to eat.

Glad you are back Cara, I always miss you when you are away. I love your miters, and can't wait to see the final result. Peeing in your pants is always the sign of having a good time, especially with sisters. I've had lots of those times. Cheers!

Beautiful, beautiful squares!! I love the little snippets in the picture and can't wait to see them put together tomorrow!

God made sisters so that they can pee in their pants together! Isn't it wonderful?

I love the title - what goes through your mind as you knit. You are churning out these babies, those new colors - yum!

Meanie. In the best way possible, of course.

if all the damp panties caused any chafing, I have a good cream for that!

Oooh, those look like candy (in a totally good way)! Looking great as always.

I'm absolutely loving the pinks and greens! Can't wait to see more pictures of them! And I echo the above post... when I take pictures of my knitting they always come out looking strange. What's your secret? (other than being a talented photographer, of course!)

Never knit a miter in my life but had dreams all night about them after reading your blog. :)
