I did it! I made my goal of two squares over the weekend. Well, technically I finished miter #7 on the train and #8 on my couch, but they're done. And the next square has been cast on as per the law. I had a great weekend - lots of sibling bonding time and much of it sans kids. The house was awfully quiet but my sister and I laughed until we peed in our pants, which according to some people is the true test of a good time.
Details on the squares tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Glad you are back Cara, I always miss you when you are away. I love your miters, and can't wait to see the final result. Peeing in your pants is always the sign of having a good time, especially with sisters. I've had lots of those times. Cheers!

I'm absolutely loving the pinks and greens! Can't wait to see more pictures of them! And I echo the above post... when I take pictures of my knitting they always come out looking strange. What's your secret? (other than being a talented photographer, of course!)
