I noticed 2 ends hanging out on your crocheted middles. Do you know that you can work in the ends as you go and NEVER have to worry about weaving in?!! There's a tutorial over at Crochet Cabana called "Those Pesky Ends". Its a sanity saving practice - especially with GS's :)

I'm all for being a jack (or jill) of all trades. Variety is the spice of life, they say. Besides, I think it's good to know how to do as many of the handcrafts as possible. As for the crochet, if you ever need a really quick cheap gift that everyone will LOVE if you basically do those square middles in nylon yarn, they make the best pot/dish scrubbers and are safe for every thing. (I use needloft. can be found at walmart or michaels)
