I have a guess as to what your news is-- I hope I'm right :) I was in an Acryl-O-Mart on Tuesday to get art supplies, and I spent some time in the yarn section. Some of the stuff isn't that bad. And the colors are pretty good!

3) you're running for president (everyone else is, why should you be different? you'd get the knitter vote)

At least Red Heart Soft is soft. It's one of the cheapo acrylics out there I don't mind knitting with. Your crochet looks great!

Well, I can't say knowing that the Mystery Goodness isn't a) pregnancy or b) a book makes me feel better, because I think either or both of those things would be wonderful ... but that whateveritis is making you the giddy sort of happy pleases me very much. I so much know how you feel with the secret thing.
When I was up for a job I didn't want to tell anyone about it lest I "jinx" it.
I find that sometimes you should let something out into the Universe or tell people so they have good thoughts for you...and sometimes you keep it to yourself, let it happen, and then tell EVERYONE!
