No Knit Weekend

Sadly, this is what it's come to. I didn't knit at all this weekend. But I did a lot of knitty stuff! I started preparing Yarnival! for Wednesday, picked a winner in the Spin Out Logo contest, and started putting together the kick off post for SPIN OUT 2007! Look for that probably Thursday. Maybe tomorrow if I can kick ass today, but don't count on it. The prizes are OVERFLOWING already and I'm sure this is just the beginning of things.

Things have been really tough around here lately. Not necessarily bad tough, but tough nonetheless. Knitting content might be thinner than it's been for a long while - and that pains me to no end. Although the good news, to some of you I'm sure, is that I've been dreaming of seaming. Hard to believe, I know, but you might see those miters sooner rather than later.

Thanks for sticking it out with me. I'll be so happy when this summer is over!

Hopefully the knitty stuff will keep you aroused and intrigued -- a tease of sorts -- so that when you get back to the knitty knitting it will be even more glorious than before.

Eh? Right?

Sorry things continue to be rocky. Sending good wishes your way.

Hooray! I've missed the miters, I can't wait to see them all put together.

Sorry to hear that it's been rough going. Hang in there.

I'm looking forward to seeing the miters again.
My sister, mom and I are going to make a mitered afghan for my dad this fall. Watching you seam yours will be inspiring.

Hang in there.

If you measure knits (and crochets) by how much you've already packed in small amounts of time, you're about 2 years ahead ;)

Hang in there; this summer will be over in no time, now. A few times in the last couple of days, I could definitely feel that fall was right around the corner over here, and it felt so good!

I hope things get better for you soon, hang in there. Autumn is almost here, with cooler weather and hopefully more knitting for you. I can't wait to see the finished mitres!

I've got miter-ignoritis myself, if you start seaming I'll feel compelled to..um...at least think about it. Kay threatened to crack the whip at both of us. Beware!

Please, tell us where the pattern is for cuff down monkeys!! And the picot edge?! I have been looking for the pattern for ages, toe-up is just too much to learn in the summer. Thanks, your socks are beautiful.

As another famous knit-blogger once said - "It'll all be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end". Hope things start to turn around for you soon - sending some happy vibes for you in the meantime!
