I'm so used to knitting on small (US 1) needles all the time that I forget how quickly knitting can go when you use a normal sized needle. It's great!

glad the mojo has resurfaced!
the most I have knit in the past two weeks is half of a childs single color mitten for my two year old. Sigh. I don't attribute it to my own (mini eight week) pregnancy. My scapegoat is that its the final weeks of my last grad school semester before I tackle my thesis. I read for school at lunch instead of knitting for an hour. hence my lack of yarn time.
That is some purty yarn by the way. Very rich looking.

I'm going on a trip tomorrow, though, and bringing knitting on my long plane flight (and then there will be a few long car rides), so hopefully that will snap me out of it. Now I just have to decide what to take!

Just wanted to say thanks for pointing out that fabulous pattern. I love the designer and this was the perfect pattern for some handspun alpaca that has been aging well for umm, a few years. Then it took me 3 weeks to find the darn yarn, but I found it on Sunday and calculated yardage and I have just enough (with some unspun left in the bag for emergencies). I'll be starting this on --- ta da -- January 1 as my Xmas knitting will officially be over.
