Eye Candy Baby! v.3

It's like almost a thing, this eye candy baby on Fridays. I can't help myself. She's too cute, even if she was cranky all day. Poor baby. I think her teeth are really bothering her. These pictures were taken yesterday, when she was much happier. [Click for big.]

Thanks. I needed that. The next few weeks - months really - are exceedingly busy. Not just with work and baby but with lots of family obligations. I won't be home much, which really sucks, and when I am home I'll have lots of work to do. BUT! Big news! We'll be at Rhinebeck. The whole JanuaryOne family! Yipee!!! Although, I'm a bit disappointed because I started a sweater hoping to have it done in time and there's no way. Especially since I was just about done the back and had cast on the fronts and now haven't knit for two weeks. I'm so tired. Here's hoping it's really hot like it always is and I won't miss that sweater too much. It's so gorgeous. An aran. Using really great yarn. Someday I'll have the energy to tell you about it. Promise!

Have a great weekend!

Cara! I hope to see you and Meli there! (not to leave your husband out, I just don't 'know' him!) : )
I had no clue I'd be going to Rhinebeck; it wasn't in my world view; but it's going to happen and I am very excited!
I am so looking forward to seeing a few knitting friends I met on the other side of the country this spring, and to meet some 'blog friends' as well.

Petting yarn and sheep will just be frosting on the cake!

You didn't make Meli fall over when you took those great pictures from above? (I noticed you're careful to stay in front!) In my ballet class, even an easy balance becomes harder when our teacher has us look up or down or sideways.

She looks so grown-up and sophisticated. My goodness.

You know I wasn't critiquing above, right! I was typing with a smile! She looks so cute looking up at you, trying to figure it all out.

And do not think twice about the sweater that perhaps won't happen, because you WILL have a new creation to show off since last year! Now, your lovely new creation might need a new sweater herself, of course....

You really helped brighten up my evening (I had a long day)! Her eyes are so dark - I'm so used to lil blue eyed babies - they make her special! Thank you so much Cara and Meli!

Look at Meli sitting up!!! Raley is so jealous - she still topples over after a second. Such a cutie!!!

Does Meli recognize you without the camera in front of your face? :)

I could look at her all day long. Expect your stats to peak!

She is absolutely the cutest girl baby I have ever seen. (My latest grandson is the cutest boy.) She is so expressive, totally adorable. Lucky you.

I can't believe how well she is sitting up. Which days are you going to Rhinebeck? I'm teaching a class on Saturday at our knitshop so I think I might be heading up Sunday for a little Yarn Recon.

Is there a Guiness category for most-photographed baby? So many good ones! Sitting for her portrait now!

Have you heard of teething necklaces? You start your child wearing them from the start of teething. They just look like a necklace but my sister swears they work. They are made safely, each bead is seperately tied into the necklace. Look for them on ebay.
